Privacy notice

Your pet stays local

Pet name, care, personality, feedback, focus history and settings are saved in app data on your device. No cloud sync or upload of your local save. The app does not collect screens, microphone, active window titles, other apps’ content or files.

Plus licensing

Only after you enter a key, the app sends its product identifier and the key to api.gumroad.com for verification and periodic re-verification. Purchaser email is not stored by the app. The key stays in local device storage, OS-encrypted where available.

Optional app statistics

No anonymous statistics are sent before explicit opt-in. After consent, PostHog receives a random installation identifier, version, OS, language, Plus state and allowlisted app/care/focus/license-result events. Events contain no name, email, key, files, window titles, screen content or free-form input. PostHog receives standard connection metadata such as IP address as part of any internet request. IP discard is not guaranteed. You can decline in Settings. The local pending queue expires after at most 7 days.

Optional website statistics

Off by default. Only after you allow this visit, PostHog receives page path, language, allowlisted CTA events and a random memory-only identifier. No cookies, persistent storage, autocapture, session replay or person profiles. We send the option to disable IP geolocation. As with any internet request, PostHog receives standard connection metadata such as IP address. IP discard or anonymization is not guaranteed. Reloading clears consent and the identifier.

Purchases, support and deletion

Gumroad processes checkout and purchase records under its own terms. The email, purchase reference and message you voluntarily send to support are used to answer you. Never send a full license key or sensitive information. Contact support for local-save deletion guidance or analytics/support data requests.
